either disable mod_security or edit the regex rules that are causing the problem.

In response to: Phpbb3 Mod security BB codes problem

Hi, i am just wondering... in this article, where exactly do we find the solution?
is it simply disabling mod_security?

we are having this problem on a Drupal site, but the server is managed by the host, so i cant just shut off mod_security...

any help would be appreciated

In response to: North American Union by 2010 USA + Mexico + Canada

Li-fan Chen [Visitor]
Not to be a contrarian, but if all humans are made equal, then a squalor in Mexico is just as in need of improvement as one in Scarberia. Did we stop wanting more and more humanbeings to enjoy middle class if it could be done sustainably? Do you want some humans to be susceptible to disease, hunger, and just plain fall through the net?

I have seen enough institutions merging with a smaller institution only to have the smaller institution end up being the "tail that wags the dog" so is it not possible that Americans are just as worried we might IMPROVE America in an North American Union? They might hate the idea just as you do. Southerners may want to hold on to some wrong-headed heritages and traditions that demonizes equality and human rights for all. So perhaps not only should I play the contrarian but you ought to as well. Maybe a World Wide Order IS a good thing. Maybe our challenges require an extreme solution.

But I think it's fair to say that all tools--in this case, a giant institution as a tool--can be used for good or evil. And may not be universally helpful. But this sort of discussion requires everyone to look at as many facets of the tool as we can before jumping to extreme conclusions.
